We are seeking an experienced Agency Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Kenya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding Opera's marketing agency network within the region, driving revenue growth, and solidifying Opera's presence as a leading technology provider in the digital space.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the agency network in Kenya, enhancing Opera's market penetration and brand recognition.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key agency partners, ensuring alignment with Opera's strategic goals.
  • Drive revenue generation through targeted partnership initiatives and collaborative projects with agency partners.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Conduct regular reviews and analyses of partnership performance, optimizing strategies to ensure continuous growth and improvement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to create synergies and leverage opportunities across the business.
  • Represent Opera at industry events, workshops, and conferences to enhance business relationships and promote our brand.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in agency development, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the technology or digital marketing sectors.
  • Strong existing network and connections within the marketing agency community in Kenya.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding business development targets and driving growth through strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge and experience on digital marketing and online advertising trends and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Fluent in English and Swahili.
