Opera is looking for an Account Manager to play a key role in managing Premium publisher accounts in one of our international business units.

As part of the job, you will work closely with Business Development and Technical teams to support and engage the growing Opera community of Premium publishers.

The ideal candidate is a go-getter, client service focused, analytical, data driven, and problems-solver, who works well independently as well as part of a team. This individual should use his/her skills and creatively tailor the right solution for each client with the objective of accelerating and growing key accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help growing existing business - analyze performance, understand how to improve and optimize it in order to scale managed accounts
  • Deep understanding of the Opera News portfolio of products and knowing how to adjust each client with the right solution
  • Provide timely, consistent and professional support to existing accounts
  • Set and Oversee technology integration, to ensure smooth and successful launches with new publishers
  • Identify and pursue potential customers that are in-line with the company’s goals and capabilities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 2 years prior experience in the digital media/Ad tech industry, especially with managing clients
  • A strong passion for, and knowledge of, digital marketing and the digital landscape
  • Fluent and proficient in English (verbal and writing). (Proficiency in German or French is a plus.)
  • Previous experience with managing clients in local markets – US. (Experience with clients in Germany and/or France is a plus.)
  • Excellent analytical skills and a proven ability to monitor, identify and present performance metrics (pivot tables are your best friend)
  • Self‐motivated and Goal-driven individual, expert in time-management, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce – Advantage
  • Background in post-sales/sales – Advantage
