Job Description
We've created a team to work on new European fin-tech product and we need to grow it with smart and playful colleagues. On our team you will work surrounded by supportive, experienced team members from our offices around the world that have a curiosity for both technology and the product domain we work in. Our team enjoys a lot of independence building products that address real needs for millions of people.
We are looking for senior engineers that have expertise in financial systems or similar. Because we need to grow fast, you will have a real influence on the architecture and the way we are scaling.
Responsibilities:
- Producing performing, reliable and maintainable code implementing test automation scripts and/or frameworks,
- Preparation of component/integration/end-to-end test scenarios for unreleased features and changes,
- Working with a team to develop, execute tests and establish quality goals,
- Documenting, tracking and reproducing product shortcomings in JIRA,
- Understanding the product, planned changes and the ecosystem it is used in,
- Setup and configure test environments
Requirements:
- Relocation to Wroclaw (Poland),
- Experience testing backend services such as APIs, databases, distributed services (non-monolithic),
- Good knowledge of Java,
- Scripting ability using Python and/or Bash is a plus,
- Good understanding of QA best practices in CI/CD processes,
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken,
- Bonus points for knowledge of the fintech domain
Nice to have:
- Experience with testing Spring Boot applications,
- Experience in contract testing,
- Experience in performance testing,
- Experience with web/mobile test automation frameworks like Selenium/Appium
