Opera is looking for an HR Intern in the Opera Headquarters in Oslo! In this position you will support the HR team in Oslo consisting of the HR Director and an HR Coordinator. The HR team in Oslo are responsible for the oversight of HR tasks in Europe, Africa, US and Asia outside of China. We support local HR teams and employees as needed and are currently working on implementing new ways of working for HR at Opera on a global scale.

You will be a key player in supporting the HR team in Oslo on various tasks and responsibilities within the global HR function at Opera.

This is a part-time 50% paid position.
Opera’s working and reporting language is English.

As an HR intern your main tasks will involve:

Assist in ongoing improvement projects for the global HR team
Assist in various HR administrative tasks, such as writing employment contracts, maintaining global employee handbooks and helping to keep employee records up to date in our HR system (Workday).
Support the HR Coordinator and HR Director on various tasks
Participate in organizing internal events

Qualifications needed

We are looking for someone who want to develop their career within HR and also is/has:

Preferably 1-2 years of HR experience – full time or part time is fine
Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology or related field
Team player with the ability to work independently when needed
An international mindset – experience from an international setting (work or studies) is definitely a plus
Self-initiating and motivated to implement improvements to our processes
Some experience working with an HRIS (Oracle, Workday, etc)
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent written communication skills
An ability to get things done quickly and efficiently
A confident and friendly demeanor
Fluency in English is required. One other european language (French, Spanish, German) is a plus
