We are looking for a highly self-motivated, experienced, digital Ad Sales expert responsible to monetise Opera’s digital Ads inventory in the region. The person should be well connected in the digital media buying/planning fraternity across major advertisers and media agencies for branding partnerships. The focus is to drive revenue and position Opera as one of the most preferred partners for digital promotions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify companies/agencies whose value propositions will be enhanced by working in partnership with Opera to grow their digital reach.
  • Work to achieve maximum market penetration and sales in the region by developing preferred partnerships with top digital advertisers and media agencies
  • Maintain and report accounts, opportunities, pipeline and revenue forecast while establishing consistent revenue-generating associations that define success and growth.
  • Regular updates on market opportunities, trends and play an active role in designing Opera’s long-term regional strategy
  • Work in close coordination with multicultural cross-functional teams across the globe
  • Lead quarterly business and operations reviews (QBR) with the key partners and internal stakeholders

The successful profile will have

  • Bachelor degree with 5+ years of experience into media sales and at least 3+ years into digital Ad sales and developing strategic partnerships in the region
  • Must possess a strong understanding of the digital advertising tools and market as a whole
  • Familiarity with programmatic media would be an added advantage
  • Proven track record of consistent performance and achieving revenue targets
  • Strong selling, objection handling, and negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals that contribute in the revenue growth
  • Self-motivated, success-driven and willing to collaborate with teams in multiple geographies. Should possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexible with working hours, and happy to travel if required
  • Strong executor who is proactive and anticipates evolving business needs
  • Fluent communication skills in English is a must
  • Based in Indonesia (preferable Jakarta)
